Bytemobile unveils Adaptive Traffic Management System
Video optimisation vendor Bytemobile today launched its T3100 Adaptive Traffic Manager, which it claims offers operators the ability to vastly improve the delivery quality of content experienced by users. The 3100 is the first T3000 Series product – designed to automatically adapt and manage all mobile IP traffic based on real-time network conditions – and is already shipping to customers.
Bytemobile says the T3100 reduces operators’ total cost of ownership for traffic management by up to 50 percent “within months” and improves the utilisation and performance of existing network capacity by 30-50 percent.
Bytemobile recently told Mobile Business Briefing that the company aims to strike some OEM distributor deals in the next twelve months in order to increase its market presence.
