SupaSounds app sound library launched
A new service for app developers to add sound effects to their apps has been launched. Called SupaSounds, it allows developers using a range of mobile platforms to choose from hundreds of sound loops and music.
The sounds can be previewed on the SupaSounds website and viewed by music genre or game type, making it simpler for developers to choose the right music. The sounds clips are available for a flat rate and emailed to developers as MP3s or uncompressed WAV files on request.
Developers can also join the partner programme, meaning they receive tracks and promotional support in exchange for including the SupaSounds logo in their app. If an app including a SupaSounds clip makes the top 25 apps in Apple’s App Store or Android Market, the tracks used are no longer available for other developers to use.
